Hello, I’m Toby Fenton

I’m an innovation practitioner focusing on the intersection of technology, security, and defence, emphasising a systematic approach to understanding security in an ambiguous world. I help make sense of the operational implications of conceptual and technological innovations (including AI) across the security landscape, with a focus on conflict and human security.

I have worked with organisations including UK Ministry of Defence, UK Home Office, NATO, United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Tech Matters, and numerous NGOs in the UK and Europe. I am open to consulting projects.
